Our Story
Charlene Rodriguez is a Chartered Accountant with nearly 20 years of business experience, where she excelled at internal controls, finance and accounting. She has provided financial oversight as controller, CFO and HR Manager for companies in a variety of industries, including flooring, building supplies, construction, and nonprofits.
Her background includes accounting management with significant accomplishments and expertise in the areas of refinancing, HR, insurance, audits, loan covenants, banking relations, general accounting and analysis, monthly closings and reporting, IT, internal controls and procedures, standard and process cost analysis, and more.
Among her many accomplishments are recapitalization of balance sheets with a career total of $24M in both private and commercial banking sectors; directing all HR duties and negotiating/managing outside payroll companies; revising and upgrading financials, sales, operations systems and controls to maximize efficiency;
restructuring accounting and IT departments resulting in reduced costs and improved efficiencies; developing a new business model as an integral part of business turnaround; facilitating the efficient conducting of external audits, examination and financial projects; and analyzing and interpreting financial data for owners and executive management.
Rodriguez holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management and Operations from the University of the Southern Caribbean and has been Certified as a Chartered Accountant. She has been honored as Woman of the Year by the National Association of Professional Women, as well as featured in an article in their 2012-2013 publication. She was also named an honored member of the Professional Registry.
